Glasgow has today (Friday, June 28, 2013) revealed PEOPLE MAKE GLASGOW as the new brand which will promote the city to the world. Glaswegians and fans of the city from 42 countries shared their views about what makes Glasgow great during April and May, with this website recording 7,000 visits during that time. Overwhelmingly, those submissions highlighted the people of Glasgow as the city’s greatest asset and we’d like to thank everyone who contributed. PEOPLE MAKE GLASGOW reflects the Glaswegian character. It’s bold, friendly, confident, and it evokes a real sense of pride. The people of Glasgow are at the heart of this brand and have helped to shape something which presents a truly distinctive identity for the city.
